Information and Communication Technology Academy of Kerala
ICT Academy of Kerala is a Social Enterprise created in a Public-Private Partnership model (PPP) for imparting ICT skills to the youths of Kerala and improve their employability opportunities in the Industry. The Company is supported by Govt. of India, partnered by Govt. of Kerala and the IT industry. It offers Government supported and Industry led Programs, Government scholarships, Job oriented training and Placement assistance.


Background of Premium Membership of ICTAK
In order to provide the bright students of the Academic Institutions with opportunities to obtain a gainful career, ICT Academy of Kerala (ICTAK) is forming a Premium membership programme with select Engineering/Science/management institutions in Kerala. The interested institutions are required to submit an online application which will be scrutinized by ICTAK based on a set of criteria. Selected institutions will be provided with one-year membership and will be supported by ICTAK on a set of activities that will help the students, the teachers and the institution at large. 

Benefits to member institutions;
👉 Train-the-Teachers
👉 Train-the-Students and certification
👉 Placement assistance
👉 Employability quotient test (EQT) to the students with detailed report
👉 Preference to host ICTAK events / Govt. Programs.
👉 Minimum 100 students will be trained on varies technology
👉 Participation in ICTAK technical events/competitions at discounted rates
👉 Participation in the Teacher’s Top5 industry interaction programme
Faculty members will be invited to interact with the industry experts and doyens in the field of Engineering & Technology to know more about the current industry trends, needs & also what companies are looking in budding professionals. The teachers will also get a chance to know what industry expects from each graduate and about the latest technology developments and learning skills which have to be inculcated among the budding professionals.

The students will get an opportunity to ask questions to the industry leaders regarding their expectations and the set of skills, knowledge and competency they look for. This academia-industry interface program will help the students to prepare to face the challenges that they will encounter in the professional world.
