1 month internship, under Builders' Association of India,  for 2019 & 2020 B.Tech. (Civil Engineering) Graduates

Carmel College of Engineering and Technology is associating with the Builders Association of India to facilitate internship opportunities for the Civil Engineering graduates. The opportunity is facilitated as a no profit - no compensation model, that is,  no fees will be collected from the graduates and no compensation / stipend will be provided to the students. The duration of the programme is 1 month, during which the students will get an opportunity to learn from practicing engineers and contractors. During this period, the graduates  will be exposed to multiple sites to learn about the multi faceted activities related to Civil Engineering. The opportunity is open for the 2019 & 2020 B.Tech Civil Engineering graduates of Carmel College of Engineering and Technology, Alappuzha.

Qualifications and Experience required

👉 Qualification: - Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering (candidates with pending arrears may also apply)

👉 Experience: - Candidates without any experience are preferred

Objective of the internship:

👉Training for enhancing the employability skills required for jobs in the construction sector

👉Provide industry exposure and understand the roles & responsibilities

👉Increase the chances of employability by providing certification from Builders' Association of India

👉Open platform to showcase skills and secure employment

Note: The applicants are requested to obtain clearance certificate from the nearest police station, before the commencement of the internship, since it may be required to be produced in some construction sites under the jurisdiction of Military Engineering Services.

Selection Procedure:

6 candidates for the 1st batch commencing on 1st week of January will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis and if there are more applications, subsequent batches shall be arranged.
