ASAP ASDC - Google's Associate Cloud Engineering Certificate course
Additional Skill Acquisition Programme is offering Google's Associate Cloud Engineering Certificate course batch 3, for the member colleges of Advanced Skill Development Centre of ASAP. 

Details of the Google Associate Cloud Engineering (ACE) Certification program:
👉 Associate Cloud Engineer certification training is a free online programme offered by Google for Engineering Students and Teachers. 
👉 The programme has online self-learning instructional content and assessments 
👉 the learners will get free access to Google Cloud resources (approx. $350 value). 
👉 An Associate Cloud Engineer deploys applications, monitors operations of multiple projects, and maintains enterprise solutions to ensure that they meet target performance metrics. 
👉 Learner gains experience through working with public clouds and on-premises solutions. 
👉 They are able to use Google Cloud Console and the command-line interface to perform common platform-based tasks to maintain one or more deployed solutions that leverage Google-managed or self-managed services on Google Cloud.

Duration
The training programme is for 16 weeks from the date of enrollment and the student has to complete the course before 16 weeks.

Target Group
👉 6th semester students 
Originally it was proposed for S4 students, but considering the Placement opportunities offered, Google team has decided to offer the course for S6 Students. (as per the update received on 25th March 2021)
👉 students from all branches who have basic knowledge in the cloud (preferably CS/IT/circuit branches)

Course Fee
NIL, the training is Free of cost.

Facilities required

👉 Computer lab (Institution) or Personal desktop/laptop with webcam, microphone & speaker

Assessment Certification
👉 After the successful completion of the course, the students will be eligible for Course completion certification issued by Coursera and Google.
👉 Students who require Google Certified ACE Certification have to attend assessment after the payment of Certification fees through ASAP will be 40$ (Actual certification fees 125$).

Mode of Operation
Step 1: Identifying faculty coordinator for the course, who is active and can coordinate the program successfully at the institution level

Step 2: Registration of faculty coordinator by providing the name, designation and email id, and contact number [Completed]
Step 3: Faculty are invited to the program. [Completed]
Step 4: Faculty are asked to share an interest form with as many students as possible.
Interested students are required to fill the google form; click here , Last date: 12th April 2021
Step 5: Students are given a small task that they have to complete under a deadline.
Step 6: First 50 students who complete the task before the deadline will be selected from the institution.
Step 7: Faculty invite the selected students to the program.
Step 8: Enrollment of students to the Coursera platform and mapping of students to the programme.
👉 Monitoring of training progress and Seminars.
👉 Weekly training report generation from faculty coordinators login.
👉 Conduction of Study JAMS after the completion of every 2 modules and assessing student's progress.
👉 Training Completion.
👉 Conduct of final assessment for course completion.
