GTech ATFG in collaboration with Genskill is offering a 12 weeks course bundle, for free, to the Students from colleges associated with GTECH (for the current batch). CCET is associated with GTECH ATFG (https://cgpc-ccet.blogspot.com/2021/02/announcement-g-tech-academia-and.html) and hence our students are eligible for this opportunity.

Queries and answers concerning the Genskill app installation and registration
1) College code is required while registering in the app but the college code of CCET is not working?There are many colleges which are already using the paid version of the Genskill app and the students of these colleges are required to enter the college code allotted by Genskill. Since CCET is not using the paid version of the Genskill app, our students are not required to enter the college code and instead, they can skip this option.
2) After registration only a few items are shown as free while others are part of the premium version and requires payment?
Any student across India are permitted to download and install this app. Once the students register in the app only a few course modules will be free and the students are required to pay Rs1999/- for a 1-year premium membership to avail the other benefits. Students of CCET will get the complete benefits of the Genskill app since CCET is a member of the GTech ATFG initiative. For this, some procedures are required to be done after the registration of the students are over. These procedures will be completed by the end of April and, once the procedures are complete, all the benefits will be available to the students of CCET.
3) After completing the installation and signup, is there anything else that is required to complete the registration process?
After the installation and signup, the students are required to update the mandatory information in the profile section. The college name is important since the free programme is offered only for selected colleges. The college name should be entered as Carmel College of Engineering and Technology (The correctness of the college name is important because the discount will be applied based on the college name). The year of graduation is important since the live classes and the placement opportunity will be provided only to the students who have added their graduating year as 2021 in the profile section.
4) After registration, the programmes of the final year are not listed in the app?
The final year students are offered live programmes and the schedule/video conferencing link/details of the programme will be updated soon. The final year students will be offered placement opportunities through Genskill, post completion of the free course.
5) What is the schedule for completing the programme?
The course bundles offered for the First/Second year and the 3rd year are self-paced and can be completed based on the interest of the students. The Interview preparation module is offered for the 3rd year students and the schedule for the same will be announced later. The live classes for the final year students will commence from 4th May 2021.
